They can reduce the amount of DEBRIS and MUCK thrown up from the wheels whilst driving and may even help reduce damage from other car doors or shopping trollies. The side step gives a sturdy 4.5 inch (114mm) wide platform so you can easily reach the roof to load your skis, it also helps kids and elders get on and off easily by themselves etc. The sub-base is an extruded box section of anodized aluminium giving a light but strong structure. Fitting: (Recommend fitted by professionals) drilling 12MM-18MM DIAMETER HOLES ARE NEEDED for mounting the brackets accessed under the vehicle.
